The amazing color clock

Started in 2012, and six prototypes later (the latest one pictured), I am still not there yet.

This last prototype utilizes a 1.8" TFT LCD from Adafruit Industries. Cheap and easy to interface, but the viewing angle was kind of a disappointment, only in a very narrow field allows the 18-bit colors to show off.

(And that is when using it in portrait mode, so landscape mode is not an option).
